Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "T&Cs") before using the Qu chatbot ("Qu") during our beta phase, operated by Quadrivia.ai ("us", "we", "our").
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Qu, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access or use Qu. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Quadrivia.ai.
2. Beta Product Disclaimer
2.1 Qu is currently in a beta period. This means:- The product is for general information and evaluation purposes only and may not be comprehensive or up-to-date.- Responses provided by Qu should not be trusted or relied upon for any medical decisions.- The service may be unstable, incomplete, or contain errors.- We may make frequent changes to the service without notice.- Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time.- We do not guarantee the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the service during the beta period.
2.2 Not a Substitute for Professional Medical Advice: Qu is an AI-powered chatbot and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
2.3 Emergency Situations: Qu is not designed to handle medical emergencies. In case of a medical emergency, immediately call your local emergency services.
2.4 No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Using Qu does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Quadrivia.ai or any of its affiliates, employees, or contractors.
2.5 Individual Variation: Medical information and advice can vary based on individual circumstances. What may be appropriate for one person may not be for another.
2.6 No Endorsement: Mention of specific treatments, products, or services does not constitute endorsement by Quadrivia.ai.
2.7 User Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for any decisions made or actions taken based on information provided by Qu. Quadrivia.ai is not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from the use of Qu.
3. Age Restriction and Eligibility
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use Qu. By using Qu, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
3.2 You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and form a binding contract with Quadrivia.ai.
3.3 You must not be prohibited from using the service under the laws of your jurisdiction or any other applicable jurisdiction.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
4.2 Prohibited Uses: You agree not to use Qu: - For any unlawful purpose or to conduct illegal activities - To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Quadrivia.ai, a Quadrivia.ai employee, another user, or any other person or entity - In any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our service - To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code - To harvest or collect email addresses or other contact information of other users
4.3 Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
5.1 Privacy Policy: Your use of Qu is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy carefully.
5.2 Consent: By using Qu, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
5.3 Opt out. If you do not want Qu to use your account to train our models, you have the option to opt out by contacting support@quadrivia.ai. Please note that in some cases this may limit the ability of our beta product to better address the user experience.
6. General Disclaimers
6.1 "As Is" and "As Available" Basis: Qu is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
6.2 No Warranties: We do not warrant that Qu will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We make no warranty that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable.
6.3 Third-Party Content: We are not responsible for any third-party content, websites, or services linked to or referenced from our service.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Exclusion of Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Quadrivia.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from: (a) your use or inability to use Qu; (b) any unauthorised access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from Qu; (d) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our service by any third party; (e) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through Qu.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quadrivia.ai and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of and access to Qu; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (d) any claim that your content caused damage to a third party.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by email and/or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of Qu after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms.
10. Termination
10.1 We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to Qu at any time, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
10.2 If you wish to terminate your account, please contact support at support@quadrivia.ai.
10.3 All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Qu service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of London Court of International Arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted in London .
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other legal notices published by us on Qu shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Quadrivia.ai concerning Qu.

Clinical practice guidelines are rigorously researched frameworks designed to guide healthcare practitioners and patients in making evidence-based decisions regarding diagnosis, treatment and investigations. Qu’s use of guidelines has been created by considering or using a range of datasets shown in the table below:

We will retain personal information used for the beta phase for the duration of the beta phase, starting 27/09/24. We will maintain that data until the end of our beta phase at which point we will review the personal information we hold for the purpose it was collected in compliance with our data retention policy.
Beyond that, we retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as required by applicable laws. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:
- The length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you
- Whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject
- Whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations)
When we no longer need personal information, we securely delete or destroy it.
7. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country.
We aim to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
